Centralize Support: Find all your available course-specific VTAs in one place, regardless of which department manages them.
Maintain Security: Access is validated by your LMS login, ensuring your interactions are private and course-specific.
Requirements & Permissions
Role: Must be an Enrolled Student at the institution.
LMS Access: Active login credentials for your institution's Learning Management System (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard).
Step-by-Step Instructions for Students
1. Log In to Your LMS
Log in to your institution's Learning Management System (LMS) portal.
Select any course that you are currently enrolled in (e.g., Math 101, English 205).
2. Access CampusMind
Look in the Course Navigation Menu (typically the left-hand bar).
Locate and click the module link labeled "CampusMind." *
Clicking this link will open the CampusMind platform directly within your LMS window.
3. Locate Your VTA
You will be directed to the CampusMind Homepage.
On this homepage, you will see a list or dashboard showing all your Virtual Teaching Assistants (VTAs) available for the courses you are enrolled in.
Click on the VTA corresponding to the class you need help with (e.g., click the "VTA for Chemistry 101" card).
4. Start Chatting
You are now in the VTA chat interface. You can immediately begin asking questions related to the course materials.
